Compound sounds are necessary for learning to read, write and speak in Italian. This short video lets you hear how the each compound sound is supposed to be pronounced and written. Study this video. Its only 12 seconds long and see if you can identify more common words where these sounds happen. E.g. Ciao, Lamborghini, Gucci, Gelato, Chianti, Bruschetta. Try now pronouncing these words properly.
